On a trip to Huntington Beach - Los Angeles, I got fascinated by the Beach cruiser bikes riding the sunny boulevards. Inspired by their slick shapes I made up the idea to create a cool bike in an alternative way. After a time of experiments with different materials and shapes, I decided to build a bike frame and forkset out of wood. The first result was a rough prototype called DaLowa. Improvements were made which ended up in the second prototype: Sawyer. This functional design bike won several design awards 2013 and 2014. Since then Sawyer got a lot of attention worldwide. With it’s timeless and unique design the Sawyer bike is for sale in a limited edition.

This design bike is build by hand in Twente, The Netherlands and it’s build with a lot of joy and passion.
